Thank you for checking out my work! I've been photographing weddings, portraits, events, and more for over a decade.
It all started with dual photography and communications degrees at Webster University. My photography education included exposure, film processing, darkroom printing, studio lighting, posing, photojournalism, portraiture, and digital technologies. In my last year of college I started my first paid photo gig: photographing live horse racing at Fairmount Park in Collinsville, Illinois.
After graduation, I went on to manage Vavak Photography, an established southern Illinois wedding and portrait studio. Later came solo shooting as a freelancer, which led to regularly photographing high-profile events throughout the St. Louis area.
To date I've shot at least seventy weddings, over one hundred events, many families, and countless other projects throughout St. Louis, southern Illinois, and beyond. I am truly grateful for the opportunities and places that being behind the lens have taken me.
My work is inspired by people and the bonds that connect them. Whether it's a senior portrait session, wedding, or commercial shoot, I love to capture exactly what my clients envision through high-quality, professionally produced photography and design. I consider my style to be clean, comfortable, timeless portraiture that exudes love, drama, and connection.
My services and past work include weddings, events, families, engagements, children, portraits, equestrian, corporate, promotional, design, and other projects. After over a decade of shooting, I can bring my expertise to any photography project with professional equipment, posing, coordination, and post-production.
Past commercial clients include Mike Shannon's Grill, Pepper Lounge, InsideSTL.com, Above & Beyond Design, Uncork for a Cause, Synergy Productions, Sybergs Restaurant Group, Impact Strategies Group, Lounge Concepts, Uncork for a Cause, Saint Louis Science Center, Nelly's B&W Ball, Whiskey in the Winter, Mandarin Lounge, St. Louis Magazine, Fairmount Park, and many more in the St. Louis area and beyond.
